Old
and New

The Rose is a hotel like no other. Extremely rarely does so much history meet so much comfort.

In an old town like no other, a hotel fits like no other. Those who do not yet know the history of Dinkelsbühl are cordially invited to experience it on site. And if you don't know the Rose yet....Queen Victoria was already there.

BACK THEN: 1450.

Situated on the most romantic street, the Goldene Rose in Dinkelsbühl has served emperors, kings and queens as a well-kept and cosy inn throughout the centuries.

TODAY: 2023.

The exterior is still made up of the traditional half-timbered structure, while all the interiors have been redesigned by NOA. The house continues to tell unique stories of centuries gone by.

Good to know

Rooms, suites and studios are available from 03.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Please check-out on the day of departure within 10.00 a.m. Late check-out is possible upon request.

Although it is located in the middle of the old town of Dinkelsbühl, the Golden Rose is directly accessible by car. We have our own parking spaces on site which can be reserved when booking and by request. The hotel also has 2 e-charging stations.

Under the roof gable is the attic SPA with infinity pool with an unobstructed view of the St. George church tower, various saunas and relaxation rooms. We think the SPA on the last floor gives this house the icing on the cake it deserves. Free access, as well as SPA bag are included in the overnight price.

Bon vivants are in the right place at the Golden Rose. Our venerable house has its own restaurant (Kantine Rosine) and bar (Queen Vicky Bar). While the restaurant serves Bavarian soul food, the bar serves of course, original Bavarian beer and British drinks. As a tribute to the namesake and former "guest" Queen Victoria of England.
