Car-free Sunday
in der historischen Altstadt
Sunday, 14 September 2025
from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Every year in mid-September, Open Monument Day takes place.
On Sunday, 14 September, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., history and architecture enthusiasts can discover special features in Dinkelsbühl's old town.
This year, various guided tours will offer insights into places that are otherwise closed to the public, such as the park keeper's lodge, the Rothenburg gate tower, and a historic roof truss. St. George's Minster, St. Paul's Church and the Church of the Holy Spirit will also be open to visitors.
The events and guided tours on this day are free of charge.
Sufficient parking spaces are available outside the gates of the old town.
As a hotel guest, please note that access to the old town is only permitted before 11:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m.
In the meantime, free parking spaces are available for temporary use outside the gates of the old town.
