The highlight is the costume parade on Sunday through the historic old town of Dinkelsbühl, in which around 100 groups with over 2,000 participants take part.

The Kinderzeche in Dinkelsbühl is a children's and local festival that dates back to a school festival first mentioned in documents in the 17th century. The festival, which has been performed since 1897, is based on a local legend, according to which children from Dinkelsbühl saved the town from the Swedes during the Thirty Years' War.
