Old
and New

The Rose is a hotel like no other. It is extremely rare to find such a rich history combined with such comfort.

An old town like no other calls for a hotel like no other. If you’re not yet familiar with Dinkelsbühl’s history, you’re warmly invited to come and experience it for yourself soon. And if you haven’t met the Rose yet… it’s high time you did – Queen Victoria has already been here.

BACK THEN: 1450.

Situated on the most romantic street, the Goldene Rose in Dinkelsbühl has served emperors, kings and queens as a well-kept and cosy inn throughout the centuries.

TODAY: 2023.

The exterior is still made up of the traditional half-timbered structure, while all the interiors have been redesigned by NOA. The house continues to tell unique stories of centuries gone by.

Good to know

Rooms, suites and studios are available from 03.00 p.m. on the day of arrival.  Please note that check-out on the day of departure must be by 11.00 am at the latest. We are happy to offer a late check-out upon request.

Although the Goldene Rose is situated in the heart of Dinkelsbühl’s old town, it is easily accessible by car. We have on-site parking spaces which can be reserved at the time of booking or on request. The hotel also has two electric vehicle charging points.

Located beneath the gable is the top-floor spa, featuring an infinity pool with unobstructed views of St George’s Church tower, as well as various saunas and relaxation rooms. We believe the top-floor spa is the perfect finishing touch to this property. Free access, as well as a spa bag, are included in the room rate.
You are welcome to use our spa area on the day of your departure until 3 pm for an additional charge of €35.

Bon vivants will feel right at home at the Golden Rose. Our venerable house boasts its own restaurant (Kantine Rosine) and a bar (Queen Vicky Bar). While the restaurant serves traditional Bavarian dishes, the bar offers the finest cocktail creations. Along with, of course, delicious beer and British drinks. As a tribute to the namesake and former ‘guest’, Queen Victoria of England.

To ensure all our valued guests enjoy an unforgettable stay, we do not allow pets in our hotel or restaurants. Please understand that we cannot allow guests who arrive with pets without having declared them in advance to check in.
