The Design Boutique Hotel & Spa Goldene Rose is a hotel like no other. It is extremely rare to find such a rich history combined with such comfort.

An old town like no other calls for a hotel like no other. If you’re not yet familiar with Dinkelsbühl’s history, you’re warmly invited to come and experience it for yourself soon. And if you haven’t met the Rose yet… it’s high time you did – Queen Victoria has already been here.

BACK THEN: 1450.

Situated on the most romantic street, the Goldene Rose in Dinkelsbühl has served emperors, kings and queens as a well-kept and cosy inn throughout the centuries. 

TODAY: 2023.

The exterior is still made up of the traditional half-timbered structure, while all the interiors have been redesigned by NOA. The house continues to tell unique stories of centuries gone by. 

Good to know

Check-in / Check-out

Your room, suite or studio will be available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. Subject to prior arrangement and availability, we are happy to offer you a guaranteed Early Check-In for an additional fee.

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am at the latest. Subject to availability and upon request, we are happy to offer a Late Check-Out for an additional fee.

On the day of departure, our SPA area is available to you until 11:00 am at no additional charge. For an additional fee, you can extend your SPA experience and enjoy the facilities until 8:00 pm, allowing you to relax and make the most of your stay.

Bikes 

We are pleased to provide a covered bicycle storage area with wall-mounted bike racks for your bicycles. Please note that the spaces cannot be reserved in advance and are available in limited numbers.

Please understand that we cannot accept liability for bicycles or other personal belongings brought onto the premises.

Eat and Drink

Bon vivants will feel right at home at the Golden Rose. Our venerable house boasts its own restaurant (Kantine Rosine) and a bar (Queen Vicky Bar). While the restaurant serves traditional Bavarian dishes, the bar offers the finest cocktail creations. Along with, of course, delicious beer and British drinks. As a tribute to the namesake and former ‘guest’, Queen Victoria of England.

Pets at the Golden Rose 

To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay for all of our valued guests, pets are not permitted in our hotel or our restaurants. We kindly ask for your understanding that we are unable to accommodate guests arriving with pets and therefore cannot offer check-in in such cases.

Parking 

Despite its central location in the heart of Dinkelsbühl’s historic old town, the Goldene Rose is easily accessible by car. We offer on-site hotel parking spaces, which can be reserved in advance when making your booking or upon request for an additional fee. The hotel also features two EV charging stations.Please note that the number of on-site parking spaces is limited. We therefore recommend reserving a parking space in advance.

Bavarian SPA

Located beneath the gable is the top-floor spa, featuring an infinity pool with unobstructed views of St George’s Church tower, as well as various saunas and relaxation rooms. We believe the exclusive top-floor spa is the perfect finishing touch to this property. Free access, as well as a spa bag, are included in the room rate.
You are welcome to use our spa area on the day of your departure until 3 pm for an additional charge of €35.
