‘You haven't heard classical music like this for a long time.’ Welt am Sonntag

‘Wanderer between the worlds of music’ Neubrandenburger Zeitung

‘Falk had them all’ BILD

‘Backstage with Dieter Falk. PUR-es life’ Westdeutsche Zeitung

‘Dieter Falk's sounding bio’ Rheinische Post

With his new album ‘German Songbook’, Dieter Falk goes on a musical journey through time with the best-known German songs, rearranged in the unmistakable Falk sound. Between the songs, Dieter Falk allows a look behind the scenes and tells anecdotes from 40 years in the music industry, which he has played a decisive role in shaping.

Because what do Harry Belafonte, PUR, Paul Young and Martin Luther have in common? Dieter Falk came into contact with all of them as a producer, composer or performer. One of Germany's best-known musicians and music producers shares his 40 years of work with the audience in entertaining, amusing and almost ‘revue’-like concerts.

Dieter Falk's concerts are a journey through music history: from classical to pop. His award-winning J.S. Bach arrangements, sometimes jazz-like, sometimes ‘gospel-like’, are infectious and captivate the audience. Sometimes with drums, sometimes as a TRIO, Dieter Falk's virtuoso piano playing makes musical genre boundaries disappear. During Falk's exciting and interactive concert with songs and grooves from four centuries, the audience's vocal chords and laugh muscles are also gladly ‘strained’. An integral part of the concert is a short ‘request concert’ in which the audience chooses songs that Dieter Falk has to improvise spontaneously.

This evening brings the audience close to the musician, musical composer, friend and man Dieter Falk
