Reinhold Beckmann 

Together with his musical companions Johannes Wennrich (guitar) and Thomas Biller (bass), Beckmann presents a collection of songs that never ceases to surprise. Whether it's “Alles schon probiert”, a laid-back piece about the vicissitudes of life, intimate acoustic folk like “Sei mein Lächeln”, the flirtatious ‘Donauwellen’ or the tongue-in-cheek laconicism of “Der Lack ist ab”: depth and lightness go hand in hand, with acoustic and lyrical subtleties everywhere. In between, Beckmann, the musician, also shows himself to be a charming entertainer, chatting casually from the hip and making sure that everyone has a good time.
 
Reinhold Beckmann scores with deep-rooted musicality, he has a heart as well as subtle irony, and not least knows about the political in the private sphere: The family-biographically tinged anti-war song “Vier Brüder” makes you pause and take a deep breath - impressive! With the groovy “Dirty Dörte” and the sing-along “Immer nur die Schweiz”, it's back to more relaxed spheres.
 
Reinhold Beckmann is a singer/songwriter, a passionate musician and a gripping storyteller. Anyone who has ever had the opportunity to experience him on stage knows that he delivers, takes people with him and simply entertains them magnificently.

What is the motivation to go on tour again? "I just love playing live. I really enjoy this close connection with the audience. Every evening has its own dynamic. And if everyone is standing and singing along at the end, we've done a good job."
