Hardly anyone in Dinkelsbühl is better known than our Brazilian bar manager at the ‘Golden Rose’, Alexander Fernandes. Passion, spirit, South American laid-back charm and just the right touch of humour make him not only a unique character, but someone well worth experiencing.

Starting in 2026, Alex will present his new highlight, unique in Dinkelsbühl:

“Das Wohnzimmer” (The Living Room) by Alex Fernandes.

These exclusive four evenings, spread throughout the year, offer our guests the chance to experience, live and up close, a genuine Brazilian personality combined with passionate mixology in a cosy living-room atmosphere and cool Brazilian beats at our bar in the “Golden Rose”.

In addition to our wide range of cocktails and long drinks from all over the world, Alex invites you to enjoy and sample smoked cocktails hand-selected by him. Look over his shoulder and discover what is possible in the world of mixed drinks. The secret recipes can be handed to you, but must remain confidential under all circumstances.

What’s more, these unique drinks are paired with selected smoked finger food, inspired by both him and our head chef Alexander Hundt. Alex and Alex – the unbeatable duo of the Golden Rose.
